Just letting people know - I stepped down from my moderator position a few weeks ago.

Are you sure you're talking about the right Forum? Our Administrating/Moderating team has never once come to you asking you to join our team let alone become a "Webmaster".
I'm shocked that you would even post something like this; didn't you just post this blog asking everyone to make peace so this Forum can be a friendlier environment? It's making "smart" remarks like the one you posted above that's looking for someone to reply back with a post that we all know is going to start a battle that makes this place non-peaceful. You're being kind of hypocritical don't you think?
Consider this a strike against your account - lying on a public Forum about there being a possibility of you becoming a "Webmaster".
For your information, the "Webmaster" is someone working for Hedley's management - I don't think you're in that field so the chances of you recieving that title are slim to none.

Honestly, I think Steve handled it very well. He did his job, there is no need for critism. Rules are rules, and we do handle a lot of things behind the scenes just so everyone doesn't have to know what is going on. But this was completely uncalled for, joke or not.

The way Admins/MODs deal with situations on this Forum are no one's business other than theirs and the Forumer who's involved in the conflict.
This IS a "position" that we have to maintain on this Forum so sometimes the "law" has to be laid down.
I am not here to fight with anyone, I am here to do my job as a mod. I would really appreciate if you guys could understand that. We handle things in different ways, if you have a problem with the way something is being handled I will be glad to talk to you through private messages.

I'd rather have the admins and moderators lay down the law as steve said, than to have the forum closed down or anything else.

I agree that another "fight" is the last thing we need, and that's not my purpose here at all. And I also respect that you're a mod and have to be stern sometimes. But I simply don't understand which "law" or rule she broke. Put aside the fact that she's my good friend here, I would honestly like to know what she did wrong so that I dodge the same mistake. Because it's quite obvious that she had zero bad intentions when she posted that comment.

Steve explained what was wrong with the comment she made in his response to her post.
Personally, I don't think this should even be an issue, the moderators are in their position for a reason - they know what they're doing, and it really isn't anybody's place to question why they handled certain situations the way that they did.
