so pretty much my grandma called me the other day and she was like "ashley! i had to call you right away! i got a letter in the mail today about the corn fest and it said HEDLEY WAS HEADLINING!" So I e-mailed one of the guys who runs corn fest and he confirmed what my grandma said! It was also on the news this morning! I'm sooo stoked :D
Tecumseh Corn Festival...NEVER thought Hedley would play there, so this is quite exciting!

yeah hedley @ cornfest im so pumped sheesh what a surprise! o man there was a little article in the windsor star today saying that hedley was headlining cornfest im pretty sure i peed a little as i flipped over in my chair. gosh im pumped!!
and it is Saturday August 23rd.
This is so awesome, my hometown. My friends and I were just talking on our way home from our roadtrip to Oakville to see Hedley that we wished they'd play Cornfest - but never thought they would. So much better than when they had Wave, lol.

as far as i know there is no specific details yet just a very small article in the windsor star listed that he;dy was headlining cornfest on August 23rd but it is an outdoor festival and its usually free to get in so im sure it wont be any different this year. ill let you kno as soon as i find anything else out

yeah no details posted yet, i e-mailed the address it gave on the cornfest website and they said they are still confirming times and such. but the date is set as mentioned above and cost, it has been free every year so i don't think that will change this year

it is saturday august 23rd and not sure about times yet. cornfest is an outdoor carnival type thing and its always been free. and techumseh is literally right outside of windsor it practically is in windsor lol and i dont know about big or small it depends how many ppl show up.
They're not going to this for sure. They starting making news articles and saying they were going for sure before the guy that books they're tour dates even confirmed it. Theres a 50/50 chance they're either going to this on the 23rd or Halifax. Janet said when they've confirmed a place they're going to post it asap.

Until a show is posted on this website or the website of a promotion company, a venue or a ticket outlet, it's not a definite. There's still no confirmation that Tecumseh is a definite go. I'm surprised it was in the newspaper when even event personnel are saying they are still working on finalizing everything. So yeah, keep your fingers crossed.

Thank you for your email. Yes, Hedley will be performing this year at the 33rd Annual Tecumseh Corn Festival. They are scheduled to perform on Saturday, August 23rd. We are still finalizing the schedule of events. As information becomes available, the Town of Tecumseh website will be updated. Please be sure to visit www.tecumseh.ca for up-to-the date information.

nah no one knows for sure yet it is still on the rocks untill it is offically posted in hedleys tour dates we just have to keep our fingers crossed and keep our eyes open for it.

looks official but still waiting to get confirmation and more details ... I've emailed this Kerri person for as much show info as possible and explained why I want it but they are out of the office until next week. Hopefully we hear something definite soon.
if they play this show, i'll be going to a concert every week in august. haha

its definate now i mean its on the website, its been on the news, letters have gone out, its been in the newspaper, etc. the only thing before was that it wasnt on the website but like when i first started this topic it was in the newspaper and on the news and when i e-mailed one of the people who run corn fest they said it was true they were performing
