Jacob Hoggard and David Rosin are just two of the dynamic individuals that make up Canada’s latest chart topping bands Hedley.
Hoggard captured the country’s attention when you auditioned for the very popular reality show “Canadian Idol,” and continued to mesmerise audiences with his incredible vocal styling and commanding stage presence week after week making it to the top three before bowing out and heading back to his roots as front man for the Hedley.
“If I wanted to do the same thing over again ... I’d probably do it the same way, cause it makes the most sense,” says Hoggard of his Canadian Idol experience.
“We’ve been able to sustain ourselves, propel ourselves forward, and use the momentum and make our own decisions.”
“It’s not like planned any of this people this kind of happened,” adds Rosin.
“It started out of nothing it kind of happened, but then in order to stick around you can’t just sit on the couch all day, it’s a lot of work and we take it very seriously,” agrees Hoggard during a recent interview in North Bay.
Hedley was the headline act on Sunday during the North Rocks the Bay concert series this past Civic Holiday weekend at the waterfront, and with a wildly exuberant performance anyone could see why this band is so popular and why they packed in the largest audience over the weekend.

what a great article! it's so great to hear a side of the boys that we dont hear much about, in regards to charity work and such. that puts such a huge smile on my face. they are such great guys.
