An End and a New Beginning - Poem By Me
I really hope I can post this here, I'm new/ I was on the old forum briefly and just signed up for this one today. Sorry my writing isn't that great, I love poetry so I try and I had to get this out of my system, it is about someone I have know for years and years, sorry it is kind of a downer.
An End and a New Beginning
For as long as I remember you’ve treated me worse than trash
I’ve always ignored it, considered it to be a personality clash
Well now I am done and I won’t put up with it any more
I am sick of getting walked all over I am not your floor.
You need to learn how to treat people, learn to be kind
Other people are not like me, and they won’t be so blind
I put up with all the mean things you did for far too long
I realize now that even my behavior was somewhat wrong.
There is a possibility you won’t realize the effect you had
How the many things you said and did made me quite sad
I may not forget but I forgive and wish all the best to you
And hope someday you will change and we can start anew.

I personally enjoyed this poem! I write poetry myself, much of it. I also, love putting my poetry togther to rhyme. It just makes me enjoy it even more.
Now lets go suck milk out of a cows udder now...erm, I mean milk a cow!

awww thanks guys! and i totally get what you mean, to me whenever I attempt to write poetry without rhyming I think it comes out stupid. I like having a pattern or at least a little bit of structure to go by, it makes writing a lot easier for me.
