LMAO .. I just sent out a couple emails.
THAAAAAAAAANK YOU!!
I also called some phone number I found relating to the Parade Square but the guy who answered had no idea what I was talking about - told me to call back tomorrow.
awesomeee thank you soo much, if they come here this Sept. I'll die its been sooo long, aka since FEb.8th hahaa
Alright, I'm a little confused about the 'Parade Square'... are we talking about the one in Halifax, on Citadel Hill [?]
The website I found says "Groups of up to 1000 have gathered in the Citadel's Parade Square for lavish and entertaining feasts, concerts and receptions"...
Sooo, maybe it's Halifax and not Dartmouth? Either wayyyyyy... I'm excited by the idea of them coming to the East Coast!! : )

That's what I was wondering - looks like Dartmouth to Halifax is about an 8 minute drive according to MapQuest.
I hope they are coming!!

yeahhhh, Dartmouth is very close to Halifax... but Halifax is bigger and Hedley usually comes there [?] that's why I found it strange that it's listed as in Dartmouth... who knows?! I guess we'll just have to wait for the details : )
wow...that would be awesome...deffly post if anyone finds out anything of them comming to halifax or dartmouth...i have been dieing to see them live again since feb 8...and i find anything more out i will deffly post something also

Just got a reply back from the Citadel place in Halifax saying ..
"There is no concert scheduled for September 27, 2008."
Hmm .. time to keep looking.
Remember guys, until everything for a show is confirmed - all the i's dotted and t's crossed, we will not get confirmation of a show. Don't lose hope.
i just moved to Dartmouth for school.
I can see Halifax Harbor from my bedroom window, so it's very close to halifax.
I am guessing that if it's in Darmouth it would be at Alderney Landing.
Billy Talent and other big bands have played there recently.
unfortunatly i dont know if i would be able to make this show as a couple of my friends bands have a show in Halifax at the Pavilion the same night.
Tara
i just sent an email to Alderney Landing asking them if maybe Parade Square had something to do with them, or if not then if they could tell me where Parade Square is.
Tara
Yayyee, Im so excited (:
But it seems really weird that its in Dartmouth, they usually come right into Halifax.
You'll never stop me, you know its everything to me.
Wait, does this mean its going to be an outdoor concert?
You'll never stop me, you know its everything to me.
oomg omg omg omg omg

but if they go to dartmuth or halifax i will be able to go 100% i cant wait i hope they are going:)

i was plaing to see them in ontario because there going to be going to Australia and maybe japan(might be the other way around) so i wanted to go and see them one last tim e because it will be a while before they come back plus i got ths awsome camera that takes amazing pictures and video and i wanted to use it at their concert well if there playing there ill fo see them for sure because its not looking good for ontario or i will go to quebec show:)
The Days We Went Cazy The Nights Wild And Hazy
xox
yeah if anyone finds out anything else about this please post it , i live 4 or 5 hours away from halifax and i'm still planning on going,
but it would be nice to have the details soon because i'll need to find some transportation and hotel.
if you can live forever , then what do you live for ?
Do you know if Parade Square has seating or if its going to be outside? Because I haven't really heard of concert being there before and I was thinking it would be at Alderney Landing.

If Parade Square and Citadel are the same thing in regards to this show, then yes, it will be outdoors - if I remember correctly.
Still trying to find information on this show - frustrating!
Will be sure to keep you all up to date though when we find out anything.

Okay thanks
I live right by Halifax and Citadel and Parade Square isn't the same place, so I'm guessing its going to be the downtown Parade Square.
You'll never stop me, you know its everything to me.
Samantha - can you dig up information on the location of this show at Parade Square. An address, directions, location landmarks, etc ... anything.
If you check the September Concert Listing thread it says information will not be available until August 29th - that's directly from the venue.
Not sure if anyone will know the answer to this BUT... I was just wondering, since it's a free concert does that mean they wont be playing very many songs... or should we expect a normal length concert?
The last free concert they played in halifax was only about 5 songs so it might be short but i dont know.
