$25.00 for tix in advance on August 30th from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the front door of Smooth Hermans or until the allotment for the day is sold - limit 4 tix per person.
A block of tickets are going be made available on-line at smoothhermans.ca on Monday September 1st for those of you who are out of town and don't want to wait until the day of the show to purchase them.
Tickets will be $35.00 at the door, day of the show.
This is a 19+ show and you must present valid Government Photo ID
This venue also has a dress code is in effect: Allowed - club wear and or a business casual type wear. Not allowed - torn jeans and that type of wear, no gang colours, or cut off shirts (wife beater type shirts), etc.
i hate the fact that its at a bar and 19+. of course the one time in a while they come down here and i cant see them. im pretty angry. would there be any chance they would do an all-ages show the day after? or are they already booked?
I agree.. im pretty damn mad too. They should at least give us a chance to see them, they havent been around in so long. It being at a bar and having to be 19 isnt fair to us young Hedley fans. I've been checking the site alot latley waiting to see they were coming around here. I acutally drive 3 hours just to see them in Sydney, ive been waiting for so long to see them and it sucks that i cant. I think us young fans deserve to see them!
i totally agree with you guys like really tho they shouldnt go where only not even half of their fans can see them like atleast go to center 200
i feel the same way. they havent been here in so long, and about 90% or more of the fans here are below the age of 19. i just hate missing them when they come. they should really come to the savoy because SOOOOOO many people want to see them again, or they should do a big outdoor concert again at the waterfront like last year which was really awesome.

Suggestions to those of you who are upset about Hedley playing a 19+ show instead of all ages ... contact your local venues and events and ask them about booking the guys in for a show. If they know there's interest in Hedley coming to your town/city, maybe they'll do it.
Don't blame the guys about the type of shows they do and where they play, their booking agents schedules the shows and it's the venue's decision if they do a 19+ or all ages.
You want Hedley ... get out there and do something about getting them to come to your area.
i know that it's not hedleys fault.. i really blame the savoy because im pretty sure they hate havin rock shows there or something. like really. on the savoy website look in the guestbook at all the people requesting hedley. i just think the savoy won't have them there any more. and if you noticed, the savoy has NOOOOO shows for people our age any more, the last one was march (faber) so i think that's whats wrong. stuff must go on at the shows or something.
but theres no more venues around here for people to go to, except centre 200 which like NEVER has shows.
Yeah, someone who lives around Sydney should try to get them to do an all ages show...in like October.

Well the local venue we have here in Kitchener (which is a relatively smaller town) is used for musicals, the symphony and such and they rarely have 'rock bands' come and play. But last year our radio station held a concert with Hedley and the response was outstanding. So I guess they figured we have lots of Hedley fans in this region.

and about getting venues to get hedley to play, only place i can think of is center 200. and incase some people arent the brightest, who would they have to contact to get them to do a show? eskasoni is a billion times smaller but a reasonable venue here would be the cultural center.

god knows if the savoy will have them back... i was at the last concert they had at the savoy and quite a few ppl got hurt me n one of my bff's were two of them there was WAY TOO MUCH pushing n shoving part way threw the band stopped playing n security threated to stop the show because of the amount of pushing n shoving was unreal... the show was way better when we were all in our seats n pretty much ban from rushing the stage..... The concert at Hermans is gonna rock i cant wait

To purchase advance tickets you must contact Smooth Herman's or Joe's Warehouse.
If any tix are left, they will be available at the door the day of the show for $35.00.
Silly question, but is Theo Tams opening for the two Nova Scotia dates? According to an article in the Sunny South News (an Albertan paper), Theo will be playing dates down east at the end of September with Hedley. The Nova Scotia dates are down east and at the end of September, so it seems logical that these are the dates to which the article was referring.

A little fyi for those going to the Smooth Herman’s show … Hedley is attempting to have the 2009 Hedley Wall Calendar available in time for the two Nova Scotia shows at the end of September but that isn’t a guarantee. “Hedley: Fan Lowdown” will definitely be available at the merch table.

Since my brother lives 10km away from Sydney, I told him he should go to this show haha. He said he would've if it was cheaper, and wasn't 19+ (He's only 18). Which reeeally surprised me because when he still lived here in Saskatoon, he'd always be like "EWWW hedley" whenever I would play them haha.

The show was amazing!
I'm so shocked I got in, me and my friend are both only sixteen, but we thought we'd get dressed up and take a shot out anyway and see if we could pass.
We heared from a million different people that hermans cards like, EVERYONE. So we hung around outside for abit and waited until we heared hedley come on and we went in. There was like five or six cops standing there, but nobody stopped us. We were in shock haha. Ended up getting a couple revs and everything. But yeah, show was incredible. The whole night was incredible
